Third base

1) Josh Donaldson, Toronto Blue Jays – A perennial contender for the AL MVP, his 94 rating gives him a strong case for the title of the best third baseman in baseball according to The Show.

2) Kris Bryant, Chicago Cubs – Bryant is the only one at his position who can challenge Donaldson. He has an identical 94 rating, making him the undisputed best NL third baseman in the game.

3) Manny Machado, Baltimore Orioles – At 93, Machado would make a fine option at third base for any The Show player this year.

4) Nolan Arenado, Colorado Rockies – Arenado is Machado’s counterpart in the NL with a 93 rating, routinely impressing fans with the bat and the glove.

5) Adrian Beltré, Texas Rangers – The future Hall of Fame inductee comes in at 89 on The Show this year.

Shortstop

1) Francisco Lindor, Cleveland Indians – Giving Cleveland yet another appearance on these lists is Lindor, with an AL-best overall rating of 90.

2) Corey Seager, Los Angeles Dodgers – Part of the reason why Jansen and Kershaw are so highly ranked is because they have Seager playing behind them. In The Show, he gets an NL-best overall rating of 90.

3) Brandon Crawford, San Francisco Giants – His bat and glove impressed during the WBC, showing why he has an 88 rating in this year’s game.

4) Xander Bogaerts, Boston Red Sox – Bogaerts gives Boston a middle infield to be jealous of in The Show with his 85 rating.

5) Carlos Correa, Houston Astros – This is the first rating that fans may do a double-take at, as Correa’s rating is just an 85.
