High Value PG

Jeremy Lin – Brooklyn Nets ($6100): Lin put up 25 FP against the Magic in his only game against them this season, and he did it by taking 13 shots in just 19 minutes. He’s played 30 or minutes in his last two games and double-digit shot attempts are the norm for him these days. There’s not a lot of value at point guard tonight, and certainly no one who can go as high as Lin.

Kris Dunn – Minnesota Timberwolves ($4500): Dunn has taken Shabazz Muhammad’s minutes and given Tom Thibodeau’s opposition to playing rookies during his Chicago days that means he really likes Dunn. He’s only taken seven shots over his last two games but Dunn has still averaged 25 FP during that time. He can fill out the stat sheet and looks like a solid value play with the potential to get to 30 FP or more.

Spencer Dinwiddie – Brooklyn Nets ($3600): Dinwiddie has been solid of late backing up Lin, and he has three straight games of 20 or more FP. The matchup is certainly a good one for him today and he’s been steadily getting 20 or more minutes per game. At just $3600 Dinwiddie makes for a solid value play.

Ty Lawson – Sacramento Kings ($4000): Lawson got rest against the Pelicans last night, but he should be right back in the rotation today. He’s not my favorite play today, but there isn’t much value at point guard today and he certainly will be in a high-scoring game. I don’t like tht his floor dropped to 10.25 earlier this week, but maybe the rest will be good for him.
