Outfielders- High-Value Outfielders

Odubel Herrera $3500 – Herrera will be in a fantastic spot to produce today as he is facing the Nationals righty Jeremy Guthrie in a spot start. Herrera hit significantly better against right handed pitching last year and also had his best month of the season last April. All of his home runs came against right handers and he will be looking to take advantage of this matchup today. ****

Lorenzo Cain $3400 – Besides his at-bats, Cain has been relatively productive to start the season as he has already stole two bases and scored a run. His track record against Dallas Keuchel is impressive because he does not hit many home runs. Two years ago Cain faced Keuchel seven times and finished with five hits including two doubles and one home run. If he can produce another year like that against his opponent today, he will be scoring plenty of fantasy points. **

Nomar Mazara $3100 – Mazara is crushing the ball already this season, hitting .588 with 10 hits, two home runs, and nine runs batted in. He is hitting a career .500 against the Athletics starter Kendall Graveman and will be looking to continue his hot start at the plate. ***

Leonys Martin $2800 – Last year, Martin record four hits in five at-bats against Ricky Nolasco. Three of those four hits were doubles and Martin also added a walk. If he continue to advance himself to second base two or three times a game against Nolasco, he is bound to come around and score once at minimum. All of these fantasy points add up to make Martin a safe play in the outfield today. ***

Each one of my picks is ranked on a scale of one to five stars. The more stars that a pick receives represents the level of confidence I have in that selection. Players that receive five stars (*****) should be considered must start players, where as players with one star (*) are options that should only be considered in low price ranges.
