Here’s how you can watch what should be an intense Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames.

The 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs feature numerous division rivalries in the first round. Perhaps none of them are as intense as the one between the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames. The two teams simply hate each other. Tempers should be flaring after Flames captain Mark Giordano’s controversial hit to Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler earlier this season. The two sides have exchanged words and the general managers are having a war of words.

Anaheim is led by head coach Randy Carlyle. He made his return to his former team last offseason. Carlyle is famous for leading Anaheim to the 2006-07 Stanley Cup title and he hopes to add a second Stanley Cup to his resume. Carlyle will look to do so thanks to the strength of his blue line. Even without Fowler, Anaheim has Hampus Lindholm, Sami Vatanen and John Manson. Brandon Montour has been respectable in his small sample size of 27 games.

On the other side of the ice, the Flames have one of the most productive blue lines in the NHL. Led by Dougie Hamilton and Giordano, Calgary finished in the top 10 in defensemen scoring. Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan form an effective first line pairing. However, their best forward line is their 3M line, featuring rookie Matthew Tkachuk. Goaltender Brian Elliott is no stranger to the pressure of the postseason.

The Flames haven’t won in Anaheim in a very long time. They’ll have to conquer this hurdle if they want to win this series. Anaheim should be motivated to win, especially after Fowler’s injury.
