Curt Hawkins

Grade: F

I really wanted to give this a “WC” grade, obviously meaning “Who cares?” but I suppose every show needs a few jobbers and Hawkins certainly fits that bill. I mean, with Sami Zayn gone to Tuesday nights, who else are the big guys supposed to throw around every week?

Mickie James

Grade: B-

I only put the minus sign here because I think Natalya coming over to Monday Night RAW  would have been a little better. For one, I really wanted to see Charlotte and Mickie James get into a program because that just would have made amazing television and phenomenal matches but I suppose we can get that out of Nattie and Charlotte as well.

I just think with Alexa Bliss coming over that it now seems as if she and Mickie may just transfer their little thing to Monday nights. But like Alexa, Mickie coming over does open up some new possibilities and I think a match between Sasha Banks and Mickie James could be fantastic.

Kalisto

Grade: A

I have been calling for this move for months and months and months, and I finally got my wish. It made absolutely no sense to me when Kalisto was drafted to SmackDown Live. The cruiserweight division was being made exclusive to Monday Night RAW and one of the best in the company wasn’t going to be a part of it? But that’s now been rectified as Kalisto is finally where he belongs, and he’s away from Dolph Ziggler, so everybody wins.

He should be a huge part of the cruiserweight division moving forward and outside of Monday night, we’ll likely see a lot of him on 205 Live as well. I really like this move and I think everyone benefits from it.

The Miz & Maryse

Grade: A

This may hurt SmackDown Live more than it helps Monday Night RAW but I can get behind this. The Miz has been one of the highlights of the past year in WWE and has really stepped up his game both on the microphone and especially in the ring. Kevin Owens may be the new Miz over on Tuesday nights, but with a loaded roster and a longer show, The Miz is going to have to work even harder to maintain his spot. I think he can pull it off, though.

Yes, he got buried a bit at WrestleMania with the Cena angle happening and he needs to get as far away from that whole thing as possible and I don’t like that he immediately got into it with another blue brand transfer in Ambrose but I like the possibilities here.
