High Salary SF

LeBron James, CLE vs IND ($11,500): James did the heavy lifting for the Cavs in Game 1, scoring 32 points with 13 assists, six boards and three steals in 43 minutes. Every bit of James’ production was needed to eek out the one-point win, and as long as the games remain so competitive it is likely that James will keep piling up the numbers. ****

Paul George, IND at CLE ($9900): George scored 29 points with seven assists, five boards and a steal in a narrow loss in Game 1. George and Lance Stephenson, in particular, seem to get up for games against LeBron James. George has now scored between 42.3 and 72.3 fantasy points in eight straight games, including two against the Cavs, so he should be expected to turn in another big effort in Game 2 barring a blowout. ****

Kawhi Leonard, SA vs MEM ($8700): Leonard popped for 32 points, five assists, three boards and two steals in only 32 minutes of a Game 1 blowout win over the Grizzlies. Leonard was dominant even against a strong Grizzlies defense, and had upside for even more production if the game hadn’t gotten so out of hand that the starters could rest much of the fourth quarter. He now has more than 100 fantasy points in his last two games against the Grizzlies, and maintains that max-level expected value going into Game 2 despite carrying a solidly lower price tag than the other two elite small forwards. *****
