Penguins vs. Blue Jackets live stream, Game 5: TV schedule, online and more
Can the Columbus Blue Jackets fight off elimination against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5? Here’s how you can find out by watching.
Game 4 saw the Columbus Blue Jackets in a must win situation. Down 3-0 in their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, they ensured their season didn’t end on Tuesday with a 5-4 win. Now the Blue Jackets face another must-win game on Thursday in Game 5. And unlike Tuesday’s win, this time they’ll have to win on the road.
The Penguins are looking to put an end to their first round series. Doing it now will let them rest a bit before taking on the winner of the series between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin could use the rest. Also, Matt Murray certainly could as he hopes to return after suffering a lower body injury during warmups before Game 1. Despite losing, Pittsburgh played their worst game of the series and still nearly pulled out a win. Head coach Mike Sullivan has to be happy about that.
On the other side of the ice, the Blue Jackets must fight off elimination once again. It would behoof Vezina Trophy candidate Sergei Bobrovsky to return to his regular season form. He has been terrible this entire series. However, if Bobrovsky gets hot, a comeback from a 3-0 deficit is far more plausible for Columbus.

Columbus isn’t dead yet, but they’re going to need a minor miracle to pull this one out. The Pens still hold all the cards and they have two home games left in the series.
