Middle Infielders

Second Basemen

High Salary Options

Brian Dozier ($5,000): Dozier has hit Matthew Boyd well throughout his career and has a good chance to continue to make a big impact here. Boyd has struggled with his control this year and is also prone to letting up the long ball as well. Dozier has moved up to the leadoff spot as well, and could cash in on the bases as well.

High Value Option

Starlin Castro ($3,500): Castro has been on a tear of late, with five multi-hit games in his last 10. He is a major steal late on the board, who could outperform many of the top names (and price tags) at the position. Save a few bucks and go with Castro today.

Rank Em:

  1. Castro
  2. Dozier
  3. Robinson Cano ($4,300)
  4. Jedd Gyorko ($3,900)
  5. Daniel Murphy ($4,300)

Shortstop

High Salary Option

Addison Russell ($4,000): Yet another Cub makes an appearance here, as Russell stands to be the beneficiary of the predicted success of Rizzo and Bryant ahead of him in the lineup. Cody Reed has the odds stacked against him, with what should be an aggressive Chicago lineup on the day.

High Value Option

Chris Owings ($3,400): A nice price tag comes with Owings today, who has been hot of late hitting .297 with three doubles over his last 10 games. He struggled against Kenta Maeda last year, but comes with nice upside on an expensive day up the middle.

Rank Em:

  1. Russell
  2. Francisco Lindor ($4,100)
  3. Aledmys Diaz ($4,500)
  4. Trea Turner ($4,600)
  5. Corey Seager ($4,500)
