5 independent wrestling stars WWE NXT needs to sign

3) Matt Riddle
Matt Riddle, the former UFC star who is making a name for himself inside professional wrestling rings around the world, is one of the most charismatic men to ever step into a ring, and has all the ability to become a champion in WWE not just NXT.
Having been released from the UFC after testing positive for marijuana, Riddle took up professional wrestling instead. A little over two years since his debut, Riddle is legitimately one of the hottest prospects anywhere.
Mixing both submissions and hard-hitting strikes into the ultimate combination, Riddle is the current Progress Atlas Champion, as well as the inaugural WWN Live Champion. In recent months he has had brutal wars against the likes of Walter, Drew Galloway and Trent Seven as well as technical master classes with Timothy Thatcher and Zack Sabre Jr.
Riddle has the laid back attitude that sets him apart from many of his peers, he can rival anyone in the world when he steps into the ring and would be a ready made superstar for NXT. The fact that WWN Live has such a strong working relationship with the WWE is a good indication that Riddle will eventually be in with a shot at making his mark in a WWE ring, his time could come soon if the WWE comes knocking.
