Tarrell Basham

Edge, Ohio

Basham is a great third round pick. While they signed Jon Simon and Jabaal Sheard among others this offseason, their linebacking corps needed a major facelift, and Basham will help off of the edge. He has really long arms and comes in as a plus run defender. He can rotate behind Sheard and the Colts can mold a high upside prospect.

137

Zach Banner

Guard, USC

Banner has a lot of size to be an interesting prospect. The question is how well the Colts can get him to move. As for now, he is a swing tackle and a backup lineman. However, he will get a chance to win the right guard spot and may pull it off by the beginning of the season.

143

Marlon Mack

Running back, USF

Mack is a high-risk reward play. On the upside, he is a game breaker who can do it all with shiftiness and versatility. On the downside, he fumbles a lot and tends to dig himself into holes laterally rather than ever cutting upfield. Getting him with Frank Gore will be a great fit and Mack has a chance to get a lot of the receptions Robert Turbin got last year.

144

Grover Stewart

Defensive Line, Albany State

Stewart is a small school player who can look to make the roster on the back end. With the signings of Johnathan Hankins and Al Woods, he may be a practice squad player.

158

Nate Hairston

Cornerback, Temple

Hairston is a project. He is a former wide receiver with limited experience at the position. He has good ball skills but limited abilities as of now. Hairston may be able to win the last cornerback job in camp.

161

Anthony Walker

Linebacker, Northwestern

Walker is a great pick. He is very instinctive and takes great angles. He can help on special teams as a rookie and could very easily find himself as a starter on this team by next year.
