Mack Hollins

Wide Receiver, UNC

Hollins is a very intriguing prospect. He was under-recruited in high school but has great size and speed to stretch the field and make red zone plays. However, where Hollins truly excels is special teams. He was a special teams captain at UNC for four years and should jump right into the role with the Eagles. They may have found a long time player thanks to what he brings on special teams.

Donnell Pumphrey

Running back, San Diego State

Many point to Pumphrey being the next Darren Sproles and the Eagles obviously saw similarly. However, while both were successful in college, Pumphrey is nowhere near as strong or compact as Sproles. Eagles fans should still be looking to Wendell Smallwood because he is a better option than Pumphrey.

166

Shelton Gibson

Wide Receiver, West Virginia

While Hollins is likely to win a spot on special teams, Gibson could be the better receiver of the two. He is more refined, and while he potentially a one-trick pony in the NFL, that trick is mighty impressive. He can take the top off in a big way. The team signed Torrey Smith, but Smith has not been relevant in a while and by the end of this season Gibson could be pushing him out for snaps.

184

Nate Gerry

Safety, Nebraska

Gerry is another player who can make a roster spot on special teams. He is big and physical and should get a chance as the backup strong safety.

214

Elijah Qualls

Defensive Tackle, Washington

Qualls is interesting because he played up and down the line, but likely has to play close to a one-technique in the NFL. He has a lot of upside, and with a coach such as Schwartz, you trust that he can make Qualls fit.
