Royce Freeman

RB, Oregon

The Seattle Seahawks should once again find themselves in the NFC Playoffs at the end of the 2017 regular season, with their eyes on a return trip to the Super Bowl. Seattle has been one of the more consistent teams in the NFL since Russell Wilson took over at quarterback, and their run should not stop this season. They did a nice job bringing in solid defensive players during the 2017 NFL Draft, and they should focus on the other side of the ball in round on next year.

One area of concern for the Seahawks is running back, where they failed to solidify the position this offseason. Some thought that Adrian Peterson would sign with the team, while others could see a player like LeGarrette Blount heading there. Instead, the Seahawks will go into the 2017 season with a combination of Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise, two players who are never going to set the world on fire.

With their first round pick in 2018, look for the Seahawks to grab a legitimate back, with Royce Freeman being a solid choice for the position. Playing his college ball in Oregon, Freeman is used to  the northwest, and is one of the best players at the position in college football. He surprised people when he decided to return for his senior season in Eugene, but that should only make him even more desirable during draft season in 2018.
