4. Josh Harrison

The Pittsburgh Pirates will soon be looking to hold a fire sale, and Andrew McCutchen will not be the only player on the trading block. Pittsburgh has shopped infielder Josh Harrison in the past, and he is off to a solid start this season. Harrison can play all over the infield, and has been a quality defender at each position.

Harrison was signed to a long-term deal leading into the 2015 season, and is a .297/.331/.426 hitter over the past four years. He was an All-Star in 2014 when he slugged .490 with 58 extra-base hits and 18 stolen bases. Harrison has not been able to replicate those power numbers, but has upped his slugging percentage to start the 2017 season.

The Pirates may want to hold onto Harrison until closer to the trade deadline, but the Mets should be checking in on his availability. His speed would be a welcome addition to an infield that is one of the slowest in baseball. Harrison would also be reunited with former Pirate Neil Walker in the Big Apple. He also comes with team options for 2020 and 2021. The Mets could install him as their starting third baseman, slide David Wright to first base if he is ever healthy again, and allow Rosario to grow naturally at shortstop with a solid backup and mentor.
