A new gameplay video for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has released. It focuses on Sewer or Later from Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back.

It’s safe to say that Crash Bandicoot has never looked this good. In the upcoming Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the first three games in the series are being remastered for the PlayStation 4. We’ll finally be able to revisit this series in glorious HD after it was away for so long. A new piece of gameplay footage has surfaced which shows off Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back in action. It looks like a ton of fun and it’s extremely nostalgic.

The gameplay footage focuses on the level “Sewer or Later.” Obviously, it looks so much better, especially if you do a side by side comparison to the original. That being said, if you played this when it first came out, then the graphics seemed just as good. It’s definitely a product of its time. We’re simply glad that we’ll be able to revisit this awesome platforming series again.

Check out the gameplay footage below:

As of right now, the gaming industry isn’t very strong when it comes to 3D platformers. However, we can say that in the last couple of years, they have managed to make a comeback. We know that Nintendo has always delivered strong platformers throughout the years and have continued to do so. But consoles like PlayStation and Xbox have always been lacking. Thankfully, we have games like Yooka-Laylee and Ratchet & Clank, which reminded fans just how great these kind of games are.

We can’t wait to play Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. It’s currently unknown if this means that we’ll be getting a new game altogether down the line, but we would absolutely love that.

Make sure to pick it up and play it on June 30, 2017.
