Viktor Arvidsson just missed scoring on a breakaway, but Filip Forsberg was there to give the Nashville Predators a 3-2 lead in Game 2.

The Nashville Predators are one of the most fun teams in the NHL to watch. When they’re at their best, it’s like watching the Golden State Warriors or Greatest Show On Turf on ice. Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson are the star attractions, dazzling fans with their speed and skill. In the second period, the duo went Harlem Globetrotters on the Anaheim Ducks.

Arvidsson got a breakaway but got forced around the net. That wasn’t a problem, as he just went around it and went from a wraparound goal. The Ducks were able to get there just in the nick of time to keep Arvidsson from scoring. However, the puck was loose and Forsberg was there to pounce on it.

It’s that kind of opportunistic hockey that has the Predators flying through the postseason. Ryan Johansen already got an early goal after Arvidsson sprung him on a breakaway. James Neal also got an early power play goal. However, the Ducks were able to tie the game with two unanswered goals of their own. For now, the Predators hold a 3-2 lead over Anaheim. But considering how this game’s going, it’s far from over.

Forsberg and Arvidsson have combined for 22 points in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The former has 10 points (including five goals) while the latter has 12 points. Nashville has been extremely fun to watch this postseason, as they’ve finally looked like the Stanley Cup favorites that many had them as in October. It took them a while to get to that level, but they’ve gotten there at the best time possible.
