9. Chuck Pagano

The Indianapolis Colts are coming off one of their most disappointing seasons in franchise history. However, don’t blame their head coach Chuck Pagano for it. The former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator has done a better job than many give him credit for with the Colts.

Indy’s front office hasn’t given him the offensive line the team desperately needs. It’s been an issue for Pagano’s entire tenure. At some point, you’d expect the front office to step in and justify spending some money on a quality offensive lineman or at least shake things up. This hasn’t been the case.

Pagano does a solid job considering the resources he’s given. Of course, he benefits from having Andrew Luck. But how much use is having a franchise quarterback if your front office isn’t willing to invest the money necessary to keep him healthy?

The quality which would make Pagano such an excellent life coach is his outlook on life. He’s an eternally optimistic guy despite battling cancer. Even during his fight with cancer, which Pagano wound up winning, his positivity was admirable. It’s something all people should emulate. Pagano’s strategy as a life coach would be reminding you to always look on the bright side of life. Sometimes, that’s all you have to hear.
