10 NFL coaches you’d want to be your life coach
8. Dan Quinn
Yes, Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn isn’t perfect. In fact, far from it. But as the saying goes, “To err is human, to forgive is divine.” Despite being flawed (as is every human being), Quinn has orchestrated an impressive turnaround in Atlanta.
Not only this, he’s studied under some of the best coaches in the world. To be a great life coach, you’ve got to have experience learning from the best in your profession. Quinn has been a part of coaching staffs under such names as Pete Carroll and Nick Saban. The former is one of the best NFL coaches out there and the latter is arguably one of the best college football coaches of all-time.
Another impressive quality about Quinn is he knows what he does best. He’s a defensive mastermind, so offensive maneuvers aren’t his forte. That’s fine, Quinn is humble and smart enough to let the guys who know better than him do their job. Of course, one could argue that’s a weakness too. But it takes a strong man to admit someone knows better than him.
Quinn turned the Atlanta Falcons into a Super Bowl contender. While his team is directly responsible for the greatest comeback in the history of the big game, the head coach put his team in a position to be up by over 20 points against the New England Patriots. Quinn gets results and would be a very nice life coach. Just stay away from the northeast.
