4. Jayson Tatum, SF, Duke

Tatum was one of the best scoring forwards in college last season, and it’s no surprise with the offensive repertoire he possess. He showed the ability to score all over the floor, and he especially thrived in isolation situations, where he needed to create his own shot.

Although Tatum is mostly known for his great scoring ability, he flashed a promising all-around game last season as well. Tatum averaged over seven rebounds a game, and made solid contributions in the assist, steals, and block departments for good measure. His game seems NBA-ready now, and should translate well from the get-go.

Tatum’s biggest knock is his 3-point shooting ability. He needs to make some improvements to his mechanics there if he wants to take his game to the next level. However, Tatum has already been showing flashes of improvement in that department, and looks poised to be an NBA All-Star someday.
