Nolan Patrick has confirmed that he will be a full participant at the upcoming NHL Combine. Patrick is widely regarded to be the top prospect at the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, but Nico Hischier has moved his way into contention with Patrick’s injuries last season.
However, with Patrick confirming that he is fully healthy and ready to participate at the NHL Combine, that should put those concerns in the past. Patrick is a fantastic talent, and when fully healthy could very well be NHL ready right away.
"“I’m cleared for full testing,” Patrick said. “Good news. I’m feeling close to 100 percent. I’m going to give it all a go and it should be fun.”"
Patrick only played in 33 games this season in the WHL for the Brandon Wheat Kings. Despite only playing 33 games, Patrick was still able to score 20 goals and add 26 assists to his tally. In 2015-16, Patrick had 41 goals and 61 assists in 72 games. Patrick, if he doesn’t go back to the WHL, will finish his career for the Wheat Kings with 92 goals and 113 assists in 163 games.
