3. Mangini needs to get a 28-3 tattoo

Everyone across Massachusetts knows exactly what I mean when I say 28-3. People in Georgia do too, but they’d rather not hear about it. Here’s the infamous image of the Fox box score that showed the Atlanta Falcons were up 28-3 on the New England Patriots.

We all know how that one ended. Tom Brady led a huge comeback, while Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ offense couldn’t do anything. The New England Patriots capped off a huge comeback and won their fifth Super Bowl ring.

So once again, where does Eric Mangini come into play here? This was probably the shining moment for Patriots organization. They’ve won Super Bowls in various fashions, from Adam Vinatieri hitting a field goal to Malcolm Butler intercepting a pass.

Tom Brady leading a 25-point comeback was the best of them all. To make it up to Belichick, Mangini should have to get a tattoo of that box score. That box score has been seen on graduation caps and different posters across the Northeast.

Now Mangini will have to permanently remind himself of the 28-3 lead that the Falcons blew and the greatest moment in Patriots’ history. That would definitely make Belichick smile a little bit.
