8. Rougned Odor: Stank

The best name in baseball easily belongs to Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor. It’s pronounced more sophisticatedly than how Middle America would think about saying his surname. Hopefully Odor knows that his last name stinks.

That’s why he NEEDS to go all-in on the Odor puns. Smelly, Stinky, Gross, are all in the mix, but he probably just needs to rock STANK during this monumental weekend in baseball. There are only two rules to this:

1.) Odor will last shower on Thursday, August 24.

2.) He must wear that same STANK jersey through Sunday, August 27.

He will be asked to steal second base, and probably third base, every time Odor is aboard for a Rangers base hit. If there’s a rain delay, he needs to stay out on the field to do advanced scouting for weather patterns and anomalies. By Saturday afternoon in the hot Texas sun, his teammates will shun for reeking havoc in their dugout.

By the end of Sunday’s game, he will look like a guy that lives to play for the St. Louis Cardinals. There have allegedly been dudes in St. Louis that don’t wash ball caps or trim beards, looking like they have enjoyed every second of Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee. Odor might STANK, but he is a big reason Players’ Weekend could be amazing.
