Clint Bowyer

First of all, Clint Bowyer seems like the kind of guy who’d volunteer to be your getaway driver just for fun. He’d somehow, in a way that’s never completely explained, find out what you were up to and invite himself along just because it sounds like a cool thing to do on a Saturday night. Of all the NASCAR drivers on this list, the Kansas native is by a mile the one who would make committing a crime the most entertaining.

His larger than life personality aside, Bowyer has 13 years of experience in the Monster Energy NASCAR Sprint Cup Series that he could put to good use as your driver for hire. He’s been racing since he was five in everything from motocross to modifieds and now stock cars, so you could hand him the keys to just about anything and he’d probably feel comfortable driving it. He’s been in racing about as long as he could walk.

Bowyer’s 2017 NASCAR season hasn’t gone well so far, but that’s another plus if you’re considering him for your crew. Not having won since 2012 is also a sign that he doesn’t let his feathers get too ruffled when things go wrong. Bowyer was even willing to take a one-year deal driving for HScott Motorsports last season so that Tony Stewart could have his farewell campaign, before taking over Stewart’s No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing entry. He’s seen some tough times and lived to tell.

But come on. This is the guy who owns a customize camouflage limousine and once raced it in an episode of Duck Dynasty. If he doesn’t get to be a getaway driver for something at some point, it’s a massive missed opportunity.
