Mason Rudolph

Quarterback, Oklahoma State Cowboys

The 2017 season is sure to be a special one for Mason Rudolph. The quarterback of the Oklahoma State Cowboys is one of the best in the country at his position, and his offense return two of their more dominant players from a year before. While Rudolph may actually be holding up a Heisman Trophy at the end of the season, he also could very well be holding up the Wuerffel Trophy as well.

Oklahoma State returns not only Rudolph, but also star wide receiver James Washington, and sophomore running back Justice Hill. Rudolph is certain to make the fans go crazy with his exploits on the football field this season, but his impact goes well beyond what he does within the white lines. The quarterback is also a pillar of the community around the campus, and spends his free time giving back to those in need.

An overall great kid, Rudolph also takes the time to brighten the lives of those going through hard times. A few years back, Rudolph befriended Gavin King, a 4-year-old who was going through chemotherapy treatment. King is still with Rudolph in his heart, and the love he showed for that young boy shows the kind of person that Rudolph is off the field.

In addition, Rudolph regularly visits hospitals, and has been a fixture at local elementary schools from the second he stepped onto campus. He also mentors teens at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings, proving to be an incredible role model. He is going to have an incredible season on the field, and will likely head to the NFL, where he will once again continue to dominate when it comes to community service.
