PGA Championship 2017: Round 1 tee times, pairings and TV schedule
The 2017 PGA Championship begins on Thursday, August 10. Here’s a full list of the tee times and first round pairings.
For many people, the 2017 PGA Championship is a bittersweet moment. On one hand, it’s one of the most popular majors in golf. It’s a great way to close out the PGA season. But on the other hand, it signifies the end of majors until the 2018 Masters in the spring. That’s a mighty long time to wait for many golf fans.
A competitive field will be full of golfers wanting to end 2017 on the right foot. And perhaps gain some momentum going into 2018. Perhaps no golfer stands to gain more from a win than Jordan Spieth. A win would put him among golf’s legends. Very few players have been able to win a career Grand Slam. It takes a lot of skill and a little bit of luck. At the ripe young age of 24, Spieth, with a win, would put a career Grand Slam on his resume, having won each major at least once.
The television schedule starts at 1:00 p.m. ET and ends at 7:00 p.m. ET. Here’s a full list of the pairings and their tee times.
