The AL West race has long been over, but there’s a little bit of concern surrounding the Astros’ recent poor play. Houston was swept by the lowly White Sox in three games in Chicago early in the week, and then lost the first two games of the weekend set against the Rangers in Arlington.
A strong start from Dallas Keuchel held Texas in check, and the Astros ended the five-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory, but Houston has now lost 11 of 15 games.
