28. Boston Celtics

Yep, I get it’s difficult losing to LeBron James and whatever team he’s on in during the NBA Playoffs, but that’s soon going to end. The King is a free agent in 2018, so if he takes his talent out to the Western Conference, the reign of the Celtics could start very soon.

The Celtics had two top-five draft picks in the last two years and have a lot of assets lined up for the future. They’ve brought in free agent Gordon Hayward and have one of the best coaches in Brad Stevens.

The Eastern Conference is horrific after the Cavaliers and Celtics. Boston may not take the throne away from LeBron and his squad this year, but eventually The King will fade into the sunset and that’s when the Celtics will start to take over.

No team in the East is set up with current stars and future assets like the Celtics. They should be able to keep their fans content. Plus Boston fans also have the Red Sox, the Patriots and their Super Bowls and the Bruins. I’m sure fans in Boston aren’t suffering too much.
