Mike McGlinchey

OT, Notre Dame

While the 2017 NFL Draft was an enigma for the offensive line position, it’s going to return to its standout glory in 2018. There are several offensive line prospects that are going to push for a spot in the first round.

The biggest, literally, is Mike McGlinchey from Notre Dame. At 6’8″, McGlinchey is a mountain of a man. He’s incredibly agile and flexible enough to handle any situation. Needless to say, his size doesn’t affect his ability to dominate.

He mauls much smaller defenders in the run game and can bend the hips to stop any pass rushing situation. Notre Dame has had some great offensive linemen over the years and he should be the next great one.

Even more than his giant stature and incredible technique is his leadership. Taking over for Ronnie Stanley wasn’t going to be easy for anyone on the Notre Dame roster. Instead, McGlinchey made the transition a smooth one for the program.
