10. Leonard Fournette

There is bound to be a lot of scepticism around Fournette’s ability to contribute early in Jacksonville. There are also going to be plenty of comparisons to the aforementioned Ezekiel Elliott, considering both were selected with the fourth overall pick in the NFL draft. I’m somewhere the Jags “being the Jags” and Fournette being “the next Zeke,” so he settles in at No. 10 here.

He’s a supremely talent player, and when I covered Fournette previously this summer in my top ten rookie running back fits, it won’t surprise anyone that he came in at No. 1. The offensive line, while not at the highest level, can push. The team wants to use Fournette a lot, and that is significant.

But there are worries. The main question mark is: what can Blake Bortles (or Chad Henne, or Brandon Allen, or even Colin Kaepernick) do? How successful will the offense will actually be? They could have the most talented rookie in the draft, but if the opportunities aren’t there, he might not be able to do it all on his own. If it wasn’t for the uninspiring offense and his foot problem which may slow him down to start the year he’d be even higher in this list, so that should tell you all you need to know about his talent and potential.
