Marcell Frazier

OLB, Missouri

If anyone bet on the over in the game between Missouri and Missouri State, they were definitely happy afterward. The two teams combined to score 115 points and the Tigers’ offense managed to rack up 72 points. What was concerning is the fact they conceded 43.

Nonetheless, it was a nice day for outside linebacker Marcell Frazier. He got a huge combined sack on the day, that will really help shift momentum into what turned into a game where Missouri ran away with it.

He also had three tackles on the night to go with the huge sack. Overall, it was a nice start to the year for him. Missouri has a good track record of producing talent that can get after the quarterback on a consistent basis.

Add in the fact that he did it on a key third-down situation and it highlighted himself as an impact player for his team. While the overall defense has plenty of room for improvement, Frazier being a consistent force will go a long way for them as a whole.
