American Ninja Warrior season 9, Las Vegas finals part 2: Watch online
There are no new obstacles to encounter on this week’s episode of American Ninja Warrior, but we expect to see some challenges for fastest finish.
Stage 1 of American Ninja Warrior‘s national finals this season already has quite a large number of finishers: 20 made it through on last week’s episode, and now, it’s time for the other 50 ninjas to take their chances with this Stage 1.
Whether or not they’ll have a higher completion rate than the first week’s crop is a little bit more up for debate. However, it almost seems more likely that someone will finish faster than Lance Pekus, who finished in under two minutes with just over 45 seconds remaining.
It might not happen until the last run — but if our hunch is right, that last run will probably be Drew Drechsel, because he’s already occupied that spot twice this season, in both the Daytona Beach qualifying round and the city finals.
As the press page notes, Jessie Graff will also get her shot at Stage 1. Allyssa Beird finished already, and Jesse “Flex” Labreck came ridiculously close, so if the odds are good for any of the women still to try Stage 1, they’re good for Graff, who pulled the feat off last year and almost certainly has her eyes on Stage 2 and beyond.
Speaking of women, this episode also has Kacy Catanzaro’s final attempt at Stage 1, and in case you missed all of the talk about her last episode, this is important because she’s actually not going to compete any more. Instead, she’ll be in the WWE.

But she’s never finished Stage 1 of a national finals course. Could it be she starts off her last run with a big accomplishment?
