Mason Rudolph

Quarterback, Oklahoma State

For the second season in a row, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill went down with an injured left knee. For the Dolphins, the time may be running out on him being their franchise quarterback, as he has not only suffered injuries, but has been inconsistent. They are building up a solid roster in South Beach, and it may be time to turn the page when it comes to the quarterback position.

This season, the Dolphins have to roll with Jay Cutler as their quarterback, so that should be more than interesting. Due to Hurricane Irma, the Dolphins saw their Week 1 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers canceled, so they open up their slate in Week 2. Cutler should play decent being back with head coach Adam Gase, but the team should look to draft Mason Rudolph next April.

Rudolph is one of the more polished quarterbacks in college football, and has really put Oklahoma State on the map. The senior is also one of the most respected players in the college game, and has the kind of personality that draws teammates towards him. He would be a nice replacement for Tannehill in the long-term, and has enough collegiate experience that he could come in and start right away for the Dolphins.
