Harold Landry

Defensive End, Boston College

Due to Hurricane Irma, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open up their 2017 NFL season a week late. There is plenty of buzz surrounding the organization, as quarterback Jameis Winston has them on the right path. He was a perfect fit for the team back in 2015, when they took him first overall, and in a few seasons, he has turned the franchise around. With their first pick three drafts later, they should look to add a playmaker to their defense.

When it comes to seasoned veterans in college football, Harold Landry really stands out. Many believed he would have been a first round pick if he came out last year, but he decided to return to Boston College for his senior season. He will spend the 2017 campaign working on his game, so he is ready to dominate at the next level on day one.

He is an exciting prospect, and has the kind of motor that Bucs fans will love. When the team won their only Super Bowl back in 2002, their defensive line was something special, and Landry could give them an edge rusher that could prove to be a difference maker immediately. The NFC South is quarterback driven, so bringing in someone who can get after the QB has to be a priority at this point.
