James Washington

Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State

Thanks to the trade they made with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills will pick twice in the first round next April. Their first pick will likely be their own, as they figure to finish the year with a worse record than the Chiefs. With that pick, they should look to bring in a playmaker on offense, and James Washington of Oklahoma State is certainly that.

Washington has teamed with Mason Rudolph to make the Cowboys one of the best teams in the country, and they could be headed towards the College Football Playoff this season. Washington has the kind of skill set that scouts drool over, as he can stretch the defense at any time. He also is not afraid to go over the middle, which is going to make his draft status very high when April rolls around.

The Bills let go of both Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins this offseason, replacing them with Zay Jones and Jordan Matthews. Bringing in a player like Washington would give them a true WR1, as he will likely be better than Watkins ever was with the team. They still have question marks at quarterback, but Tyrod Taylor can win NFL games if he has the right combination of talent around him.
