Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are one of those teams looking to avoid an 0-2 start.

One of the best quarterbacks in NFL history welcomes one of the worst defensive teams over the past five seasons — he same defense that made Sam Bradford QB3 in fantasy with three touchdown passes.

Brady was embarrassed on opening night against the Chiefs. He is still working on chemistry with new wide receiver, former Saint Brandin Cooks. The team is also dealing with the preseason loss of Julian Edelman to a knee injury.

Regardless of those factors this week is shaping up to be a bounce back week for the Patriots. The team had an extra four days of rest compared to the Saints, who played on Monday night. The extra rest and extra motivation of being demolished last Thursday set-up for a huge performance.

The Patriots will need it too. The team’s defense looked terrible and outmatched against Kansas City. With Drew Brees, at home in New Orleans, coming up they’ll need every point they can muster. Brady will likely look to Rob Gronkowski often and early against a weak linebacking core for the Saints (more on him later).

Of course Brady is a must start for everyone that owns him, but the Saints defense should also boost the numbers of everyone in the Patriots’ receiving core. Even Patriots running backs should see some increase in rankings after rookie Dalvin Cook torched New Orleans Monday.
