Wide Receivers: Brandin Cooks, New England Patriots-$7,900; DeSean Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers-$6,700; Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings-$5,800

With Brady as my quarterback this week, I’m going with Cooks to form a QB-WR stack. Cooks had three catches (on seven targets) for 88 yards in Week 1, while also drawing three penalties. Week 2 brings a “revenge game” against the New Orleans Saints, who traded him to the Patriots during the offseason. It also happens to be an incredibly favorable matchup, as the Vikings’ wide receivers ran rampant through the Saints’ secondary for multiple big plays in Week 1. With Julian Edelman, Malcolm Mitchell and possibly Danny Amendola out, Cooks could combine some big plays with double-digit targets on Sunday.

Jackson brings a big play element to the Buccaneers’ offense it has severely lacked, and after an unexpected bye week Jameis Winston should be looking his way frequently on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. As Mike Evans draws extra attention from Chicago’s secondary, I’m betting on D-Jax being a difference maker in his Buccaneers’ debut.

Thielen had nine receptions for 157 yards against the Saints in Week 1, and going back to last year he has over 100 yards in three of his last five games. Narrowing to his last three games, and even with a Week 17 dud in 2016 (one catch for seven yards), he has 22 catches for 366 yards and two touchdowns. I almost went with fellow Vikings’ receiver Stefon Diggs ($6,500) here, but Thielen is a slightly better value with a more advantageous matchup working mostly out of the slot against the Steelers on Sunday.
