1. QB Mason Rudolph is going to keep being Mason Rudolph

Coming into the college football season, Mason Rudolph probably wasn’t getting the respect that he rightfully deserved from around the country. He was a known commodity for Oklahoma State, but he wasn’t getting the recognition of a Sam Darnold at USC. Now three games into the season, Rudolph has thrust himself to the top of the mountain and has positioned himself for a strong Heisman run.

So far this season, the Cowboys’ signal caller is 68-of-94 for 1,135 yards, including 11 touchdowns to only one interception. He had a clean sheet through two and a half games, but finally threw his first pick late against Pittsburgh.

Rudolph has been efficient and a smooth operator of the Cowboys’ offense, leading them to great success in the early part of the season.

He’s the difference maker in the TCU-Oklahoma State matchup this weekend. He’ll be the best player when they step on the field and if he continues to play the way he has in the first three games, TCU doesn’t stand a chance in this one.

Big 12 games are usually shootouts, with defense not really playing a part in the game. If TCU can’t get stops early against Rudolph, I suspect it’s going to be a long game for the Horned Frogs and they may get their doors blown off.
