NFL Draft 2018 player rankings – Saquon Barkley worthy of top pick?
Nick Chubb continues to impress for the Georgia Bulldogs as he tries to show why he should be one of the top running backs taken in the draft next year. Once again, his touches weren’t all that heavy but he made the most of them.
He finished the day with 81 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns. He certainly isn’t getting the amount of touches that some of the other top backs in the nation are. The Bulldogs are essentially in a way keeping him fresh as the year goes on.
It was an impressive day for the Bulldogs, as they dispatched of No. 17 Mississippi State with relative ease. The blowout win at home for undefeated Georgia should certainly help vault them potentially into the top 10.
Chubb has been a big reason for their success and his 5.4 yards per carry this past week show how effective he has been. Running the ball at an efficient rate against a great team is a good way to help his stock.
Minkah Fitzpatrick is a dangerous man on the field. He is more than just a safety that can eliminate a portion of the field and make big interception. He also can make plays on the quarterback as well.
Against Vanderbilt, Alabama let their safety fly and he helped play a huge part on a night where they held Vanderbilt to just 78 yards. After the Crimson Tide felt they were called out, the defense rose to the occasion.
Fitzpatrick once again didn’t let anything by him and he showed that he can do just about everything. He is slowly establishing himself potentially as the top safety and will keep rising up the draft boards.
It’s never a wise thing to call out the Crimson Tide. With players like Fitzpatrick out there, things can get ugly quickly for the opposition. The defense took it personal and it was a great day for everyone else across the board.
