FSU and Miami renew one of college football's best rivalries next week.

No. 25: Florida State Seminoles

Ranking coming into Week 5: N/A

Florida State had to dig down deep against Wake Forest on the road this week and it took a Derwin James knockdown in the endzone to preserve a victory for the Seminoles. If they end up not cracking the Top 25, they definitely can with a win next with in their showdown with Miami (FL).

No. 24: NC State Wolfpack

Ranking coming into Week 5: N/A

The ‘Pack should be in the Top 25 for the first time this season after another win this week. They’ll be featured in one of the key games this coming week on a Thursday night against Lamar Jackson and Louisville in Raleigh.

No. 23: West Virginia Mountaineers

Ranking coming into Week 5: No. 23

The Mountaineers were idle this week and a humongous showdown looms with No. 9 TCU next week in Fort Worth. That’s going to be a game you won’t want to miss next week.

No. 22: Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish

Ranking coming into Week 5: No. 22

Outside of a one-point loss to Georgia a few weeks ago, the Irish have completely turned things around from their disappointing four-win campaign last week. They’ve already won four of their first five games in the early going and head for the meat of their schedule in then next few weeks with some momentum.

No. 21: Florida Gators

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 21

The Gators lost quarterback Luke Del Rio for the season with a shoulder injury after a hit against Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon, but the Gators still won the game at home against the Commodores. It’s still a mess for Florida all across the board, but a win is a win.
