Bryce Love

RB, Stanford

Bryce Love is going to keep shooting his way up draft boards if he keeps dominating the way that he is. Against Arizona State on Saturday, Love set a program record for rushing yards in an individual game.

Love finished the day with 301 yards and carried the Cardinal to victory. Arizona State knew the ball was going to him every play and yet they still couldn’t do anything to stop him. With more great performances, he’s going to push his way into the Heisman discussion if he hasn’t already.

He’s powerful, quick and is the next great Stanford weapon. If he decides to come out after this year, he is going to be taken high. A lot will be made of the monster offensive line in front of him, but his game is real.

The Cardinal have a big road test against Stanford next. The Utes will pose a stout test to the running back on the road, but it’s an opportunity to continue to further his stock against a quality opponent.

Baker Mayfield

QB, Oklahoma

After a fantastic start to the season, the Oklahoma Sooners are coming off of a bye week. They will play their next conference game at home against Iowa State before they get ready for the big game against Texas.

Baker Mayfield has himself right there in the Heisman discussion after a fantastic start to the year. From the win on the road against Ohio State to big performances, Mayfield is quickly seeing his draft stock rise.

Now, the Sooners will really begin the meat of their schedule and this is where Mayfield has a real chance to shine. He should be able to tear apart most of these defenses coming up that he’s about to face.

His arm and his leg should have him excited about the potential that exists at the next level. He’s proven to be the competitor that everyone has expected to see on a weekly basis. It’s him and Saquon Barkley for the Heisman right now, which is as tough of a vote as any.
