Washington Huskies

Prior to his commitment to Georgia, the Washington Huskies were one of the big players for Jacob Eason. And that shouldn’t be a surprise. Eason, after all, is a native of The Evergreen State. Before proceeding to Athens, he lived in Lake Stevens, located roughly 40 miles north of Seattle.

If Eason were to desire to head closer to home, then Washington might be his destination of choice. The Huskies will be looking for a quarterback once Jake Browning eventually departs. Head coach Chris Petersen has already begun planning for that eventual departure. He has two four-star quarterbacks coming into the fold next season. That being Jacob Sirmon and Colson Yankoff, who are both Top 100 recruits.

With not much in the way of QB depth to speak of beyond Browning, the position may be of need going forward. Eason has already proven himself, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Petersen and the Huskies be a player for him. They may need to keep up with the Joneses so to speak, especially with Oregon’s recent rise in the recruiting rankings thanks to Willie Taggart’s efforts. Allowing Eason to come in to play for the Huskies would be an excellent way to maintain stability in Seattle.
