No. 25: Michigan State Spartans (4-1)

Ranking coming into Week 6: N/A

Hello, Michigan State … and welcome to the Top 25 after surviving the monsoon that hit Ann Arbor on Saturday night. Outside of a poor performance against Notre Dame a couple weeks ago, Mark Dantonio’s bunch looks like the Sparty we’re used to seeing.

No. 24: Utah Utes (4-1)

Ranking coming into Week 6: No. 20

The Utes lost a tough one to Bryce Love and the Cardinal on Saturday night. You can never really count out a Kyle Whittingham-coached team, but in the tightly-contested Pac-12 Conference, that’s a game the Utes needed to win on Saturday and didn’t.

No. 23: Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-1)

Ranking coming into Week 6: N/A

Kliff Kingsbury might be college football’s most handsome coach and Texas Tech hung 65 points on poor Kansas on Saturday afternoon. The Red Raiders are a comeback that fell just short against Oklahoma State last weekend from being unbeaten.

No. 22: Stanford Cardinal (4-2)

Ranking coming into Week 6: No. 22

WATCH BRYCE LOVE RUN THE FOOTBALL BEHIND STANFORD’S OFFENSIVE LINE. IT’S FUN. TRUST ME.

No. 21: Central Florida Knights (4-0)

Ranking coming into Week 6: No. 24

Two seasons again, Central Florida finished the season 0-12. They’re 4-0 this season after a 51-23 drubbing of Cincinnati and Scott Frost’s bunch could challenge South Florida and San Diego State for that Group of Five spot in the College Football Playoff potentially. Don’t sleep on the Knights. Only during them. Bad joke. I’m sorry.
