Sit: Lamar Miller

Believe it or not, the Cleveland Browns, despite an 0-5 start, have one of the best run defenses in the league. They are currently a top-five unit in that category, having only allowed 76.6 yards per game. They held Le’Veon Bell to 32 yards, Frank Gore to 57, Joe Mixon to 29 and last week Elijah McGuire to just 20 on the ground. The one blip came against Baltimore, where their trio of runners managed 130 yards, but if there’s one thing the Browns do well – it’s defending the run.

Through the first three weeks of the season, there were questions starting to arise about Lamar Miller’s workload. Rookie D’Onta Foreman was starting to eat into Miller’s carries, and we weren’t sure what to expect moving forward.

Despite his continued dip in Week 4, he still had 23 touches, 75 yards and two scores. However, in Week 5, he played a season-high 87% of the team’s snaps and established himself as the clear lead.

While Miller owners can be excited about his year-long prospects, this week is not one to start him for his rushing prowess. The Browns are one of the ten best against opponent’s fantasy running backs, so avoid Miller if you can.
