2. Look into collarbone transplants

Some people need to stay busy in the wake of tragedy. These fans are not watching Packers games anymore but they still feel compelled to do something for their team. They can’t just lose themselves in a new hobby or forget like boys in green and yellow exist. That would be too cruel.

For those fans, we recommend researching collarbone transplants. No matter that collarbone transplants are not remotely feasible, the search will give you plenty to occupy yourself while Rodgers works through surgery and rehab. You may even go so deep into this particular internet hole that you decide to commit yourself to the study of medicine, so that one day, a dedicated NFL fan like yourself can, in fact, have the option of donating a collarbone to an injured QB.

Now that’s a good use of your time.

3. Compile care packages for Rodgers

Slightly less time intensive than getting a medical degree and developing a new procedure for shoulder injuries, the Packers fan who needs to keep busy may want to spend their Sundays creating care packages for Aaron Rodgers.

Some ideas: A Song of Fire and Ice book series; The Office box set; homemade baked goods. Must Love Dogs, both the book and the movie. Some cozy sweaters. If you’re not familiar with his likes/dislikes, some internet sleuthing is a great way to spend your first free Sunday before pacing out the acquisition and construction of the care package through the following weeks.

Then, send off your package to Mr. Aaron Rodgers, care of the Packers:

P.O. Box 10628
Green Bay, WI 54307-0628

Or you can try just mailing the package to Lambeau Field:

1265 Lombardi Avenue
Green Bay, WI 54304
