4. Apple picking and assorted autumn activities

For some Packers fans, even time thinking about their team, by way of medical innovation and/or baked goods, will be too painful and it’s those fans who will really see their Sundays evolve in new and unexpected directions. Look first to your own bucket list, both big and small, to decide if maybe now is the time to get into needle-pointing or join a recreational neighborhood curling league.

If you’re optimistic that the Packers will soon salvage their spot on your weekend schedule, then perhaps you’ll spend the coming Sundays on one-off events.

Fall is a wonderful time for select outdoor activities, like apple picking or going for bike rides. The weather can be a little crisp, but nothing that the appropriate outerwear can’t fix. And nothing that will bother Green Bay fans, being as it is that many of them are from and/or live in Wisconsin, a noted Very Cold Winter state. No doubt the fine folks at Wisconsin Tourism can help you find something to bide your time.

5. Start watching Oscar contender movies six months early

There is never enough time to watch all the Oscar contenders and/or nominated movies if you start watching in January or February and while it may be a little premature, there’s no harm in using that three-hour block you dedicated to the Packers each Sunday to watch an acclaimed and/or buzz-worthy cinematic offering.

(Alternatively, if you’re more of a small-screen person, use that time to smash through three-to-six episodes of an acclaimed and/or buzz-worthy television offering the Emmys reminded you that you wanted to watch.)

Because really, an award-worthy drama is your best shot at experiencing the range of emotions akin to those of a Packers game until Green Bay returns to reclaim your Sundays.
