ALCS to the Yankees: It’s October, and it’s the Yanks

If you’re the New York Yankees, you spoil everyone else’s postseason – it’s what you do (with a nod to Geico).

Love them or hate them, you can’t deny the success the New York Yankees organization has in the month of October (spilling into November in recent decades). When the Yanks are in the playoffs, you hate being the team to come up against them.

Whether it’s an otherwise obscure hero who jumps into the spotlight, or if rookie sensation Aaron Judge finds his groove at the plate again, Yankee fans will always believe someone will get it done. More often than not, they do (see; 27 world championships).

This team showed incredible fortitude in not giving up after losing the first two games of the series to arguably the best offensive lineup in the game. At some point, a road team is likely to win one of these games, and Game 7 will be when the Yankees break Houston’s serve.
