Wide Receivers:

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons-$8,800
Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints-$7,700
Robert Woods, Los Angeles Rams-$5,500

Jones is off to a slow start this year, with 25 catches for 367 yards and zero touchdowns. Being less than 100 percent healthy at times has played a role, but no less an authority than Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has lamented Jones’ lack of usage this season (37 targets, just one in the red zone).

But the great elixir that is the New England Patriots defense is on the slate for Jones in Week 7. New England has allowed the most yards (1,191) and the second most yards per game (198.5) to wide receivers this season, and 11 different receivers have put up either 75 yards or a touchdown against the them thus far.

Jones is lining up to be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease this week. Pony up for him in FanDuel with confidence.

Thomas had a disappointing game in Week 6 against the Lions, with just three catches (on six targets) for 11 yards. But Drew Brees also only threw for 186 yards in the game, and that is in line to change in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers.

Over their last five games, the Packers have allowed 12.6 receptions and nearly 157 yards per game to opposing wide receivers. Their secondary has been thinned by injuries, with cornerback Kevin King (concussion) and safety Morgan Burnett (hamstring) missing Week 6 and cornerback Quinten Rollins landing on IR after suffering an ankle injury last Sunday.

Thomas had at least eight targets in each of his first four games this season. He should get back to that kind of volume this week, and take full advantage of a nice matchup.

Woods has been targeted at least six times in four straight games (28 total), with at least five catches for 66 yards in three of those contests. Against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, he’s a good bet to keep the momentum going.

The Cardinals have Patrick Peterson, but not much else, at cornerback. Secondary receivers have hurt them, and Sammy Watkins is likely to get shadowed by Peterson on Sunday. That sets Woods up for a lot of targets, and a lot success against an inferior corner.

Woods is virtually certain to deliver value this week, so he was an easy choice to round out my FanDuel wide receiver group.
