8. McCoy with the dagger

LeSean McCoy has picked things up in the past two weeks. Holding a 27-14 lead against the Raiders late in the fourth quarter, all it took was one handoff for the Bills to seal the win. McCoy burst through the Bills offensive line and had a clear lane to the end zone.

It was a perfectly executed blocking scheme by the big men up front and it paid off in dividends. McCoy had some much room he was able to celebrate 20-yards before reaching the end zone. It was 48 of the 151 yards McCoy had on the ground today. The Bills handled the Raiders by 20 points and keep on winning. Sean McDermott’s squad is 5-2 and on their way to ending the 17-year playoff drought

7. DeShaun Watson goes DEEP

No stage seems too big for Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson. Even in the hostile Seattle environment, Watson had no trouble getting off to a fast start. On their first drive of the game, Watson unleashed a 59-yard bomb to Will Fuller for the touchdown. It was a perfect pitch and catch as Fuller burned past the Legion of Boom for the opening score.

I don’t care what team you root for, it’s fun watching Watson play football. He’s easily been the best quarterback in this rookie class and is growing every single game. Sure Watson is going to make his mistakes, but his poise as a rookie quarterback is incredible.

No matter how this season turns out for the Texans, they’ve found their franchise quarterback of the future.
