High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at POR ($10,600): Westbrook isn’t lighting up fantasy scoreboards like he did last year, but he can still be counted on for a points-assists double-double every game with the threat of the triple-double a real possibility. Oklahoma City are 4-0 when Westbrook records a triple-double this season. He’s averaging 19.5 points, 11.8 assists, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals this season. Portland’s defense is 17th against the position and Westbrook remains the straw that stirs the Thunder’s offensive drink. ****

Kemba Walker, CHA at MIN ($7,300): Walker is coming off his worst fantasy performance of the season, giving owners just 20.5 points against a hungry Spurs team, desperate for a win. Good players typically don’t struggle long, so I would expect Walker to perform that poorly on Sunday against the Timberwolves, who are 29th against opposing fantasy point guards. Walker is averaging nearly 10 fantasy points more than Mike Conley Jr., but is available for the same price. ****

Damian Lillard, POR vs OKC ($9,100): Facing one of the toughest defenses in the league, there is reason to think that Lillard will have a down night against Oklahoma City. But Lillard is a volume shooter and someone who always finds a way to generate offense. He’s had 40+ fantasy points in seven of nine games this season. He should be counted on for at least 40 fantasy points despite matching up with the 3rd ranked defense against the position. ***
