DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 5, 2017
High Value PG
Jordan Clarkson, LAL vs MEM ($4,200): While Lonzo Ball has looked passive lately, Clarkson has had no problem entering the game and firing at will. He gave owners 34.5 fantasy points against the Nets thanks to 19 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Grizzlies represent a tough challenge, but you can count on Clarkson to run the offense and get his shots up. He’s averaging 15.1 points and shooting 50 percent from the field. ***
Mario Chalmers, MEM at LAL ($4,000): The two-time NBA champion has been a steady hand off the Grizzlies bench. On Saturday against the Clippers, Chalmers finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Grizzlies are on a back-to-back and typically play down to their competition. That said Chalmers should still get his 23-25 minutes a game, if not more. If he gets his usual minutes, he’ll be good for at least his 18 point fantasy average, which isn’t bad and comes at a low cost. ***
Donovan Mitchell, UTA at HOU ($3,800): It looks like Mitchell has solidified his spot in the rotation, which means he’s going to be a steal if he’s constantly valued under $4,000. Mitchell is averaging 22.5 FPPG, which is more than guys who are going for $1,000 more. Mitchell has given owners 30+ fantasy points in three of the last four games. If he’s able to stay on the court against the Rockets offense, he’s a great play at the price. ****
