8. Ajayi makes himself at home

Well, that didn’t take long. Newly acquired Eagles running back Jay Ajayi wasn’t expected to have a major role in the offense today but that was short-lived. Ajayi made himself right at home with a 46-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter against the Broncos. It was part of a 51-23 thrashing the Eagles put together today.

This is exactly why the Eagles traded for Ajayi. He’s a physical running back that also has a ton of explosiveness. If you give Ajayi the open lane, there’s no stopping him on his way to the end zone. He’s one of the final pieces the Eagles needed to be a complete team and it now looks like Super Bowl or bust for Doug Pederson’s squad at 8-1.

7. Potato sack celebration!

I feel bad for everyone not tuning into NFL games. With relaxed celebration rules this season, we’ve seen some creative stuff. Whether it’s a Star Wars celebration or JuJu Smith-Schuster locking up the bike, these celebrations never fail to entertain us. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continued that theme when he scored a touchdown early in the third quarter.

After the short-yard score, Kelce along with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Demarcus Robinson did a potato sack race. It was absolutely hilarious and whether you’re a Chiefs fan or not, you have to give Kelce credit for that idea. Very fittingly, Kelce won the race, but the Cowboys had the last laugh with the 28-17 win.
